Major event of the 1960-1961 fall quarter was Open House on Sunday, November 19, at the newly completed Pueblo College Center. Miss Katharine McIntyre, Dean of Women, began her duties as Director. Its two floors comprise on outside gross area of 46,500 square feet. The aesthetic qualities made this a most beautiful building, embellished on the front with a cool, spacious veranda extending to the side of the building which overlooks the campus in the foreground and in the background Pikes Peak, the best known landmark in the Rocky Mountain Region.
