HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Mike Davis Legacy
Amount: $500
- High school senior or high school graduate with the past year with a minimum of high school GPA of 3.5
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester of college level courses
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA per semester
- Submit two (2) letters of recommendations from teachers/instructors
- Submit a written essay on your personal educational and career goals
Dual Enrollment Student
Amount: $500
- High school senior at Pueblo, Fremont or Southwest Campuses
- Completed 20 college general education credits as a high school student earning a 3.0 college cumulative GPA or higher
- At end of 7th semester must have a 3.0 high school cumulative GPA
- Enroll and complete 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA per semester
- Submit a one-page written statement (two to three paragraphs) on your personal educational and career goals
- Include the FAFSA results with scholarship application
- Student may continue to receive scholarship if they maintain a 3.0 GPA per semester and enroll and complete 12 credit hours per semester. The student must apply annually to receive this scholarship their second, third, and fourth semesters.
Pueblo Community College Foundation Academic
Amount: Varies
- Must be a current high school graduate from any Pueblo high school
- Level I - 3.0 - 3.2490 HS 11th Semester GPA - $1,000 per year for 2 years
- Level II-3.25 - 3.499 HS 11th Semester GPA - $1,500 per year for 2 years
- Level III-3.50 - 3.749 HS 11th Semester GPA - $2,000 per year for two years
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester and maintain GPA listed above for the entire two years
Kiwanis Club of Pueblo
Amount: $1,000 per semester
- Carry and maintain 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain 3.0 GPA per semester
- Complete Kiwanis Club of Pueblo Application (included in PCC Foundation Scholarship application)
- Essay must state Key Club participation dates
Pat Trontel-Spino
Amount: $500 per semester
Foundation
- Must be a recent District 70 high school graduate
- High school GPA 3.0 for application
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA per semester
Central High "Class of 1957"
Amount: $500 per semester for tuition
- Must be a Central High graduate
- Completed 12 college credit hours
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA per semester
- Essay must address financial need and goals
Clem & Marge Hausman
Amount: $500 per semester for tuition
Foundation
- Priority given to graduates of Pueblo Centennial and South High Schools
- Excellence/Achievement/Financial Need scholarship
- High school GPA 3.2
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA per semester
- Must demonstrate finance need (verified by Finance Aid) and/or merit
- Other scholarships may not be used, Financial Aid is acceptable
- Essay must include personal achievements, goals and volunteer activities
Jeff Pearson Memorial
Amount: $1,000 per semester
Foundation
- Available to South High School graduates enrolled in photography or architecture
- Carry and complete 12 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a 2.75 GPA per semester
