Ms. Herman has a Master’s of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from Moorhead State University in Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois.
Jennifer has been the Director of Academic and Student Support at the Fremont Campus since 2002. She currently oversees both academic and student services at the Fremont Campus, including advising, career counseling, transfer services, student organizations, class schedule developement and the hiring and supervision of part-time faculty. Jennifer came to Pueblo Community College in June 1999 and served as the Counselor for Advising and Transfer Services on the Pueblo campus. Prior to that time, she was as the Site Director and Program Coordinator for Troy State University at Ft. Carson and a counselor and advisor intern at Moorhead State University in Minnesota.
Before working in higher education, Jennifer worked as a journalist and photographer for the Jamestown (ND) Sun newspaper and her small hometown newspaper in Centralia, IL. Volunteering at a rape & domestic violence shelter led her to return to school to pursue a Master's degree in counseling.
