How Do I Get Involved?

Student Senate - Student Senators at the Fremont Campus arrange and plan for student events throughout the year, including fall and spring student events and Senior Mini College.  If you are interested in taking the lead at the Fremont Campus, see or e-mail Jennifer Herman, Director of Academic and Student Support.

Student Advisory Council (SAC) - The Student Advisory Council is an organization of  Fremont Campus student leaders who plan student events sponsored by the Student Senate and act as representatives for the Fremont Campus student body and the community of Canon City.  If you are interested in SAC, contact Lisa Aragon at 296-6100.

Ambassadors - Ambassadors represent the Fremont Campus and Pueblo Community College at various functions.  This is a competitive position and PCC will pay for up to 12 college credits.  If you are interested in being an ambassador, please contact Jennifer Herman, Director of Academic and Student Support.

Art Club is an active student club for anyone interested in all art forms; including visual art, poetry, literature, theater, and photography. Activities include organization of the biannual art show, holiday display, and other projects. If you are interested in joining the art club, please contact Marti Lawrence at 296-6100.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international scholastic honorary society for two-year community and junior colleges. Phi Theta Kappa recognizes student academic achievement at PCC and promotes academic excellence at the College. To be eligible for membership, you must be a currently enrolled student with a 3.80 grade-point average after completing 12 or more credit hours of college-level work. PCC’s Alpha Rho Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is an active society, participating in many community service, scholarship, and fellowship events. After induction, you may select standard or enhanced membership, which is determined by your level of participation in chapter activities. As a Phi Theta Kappa member, you will be honored at graduation for your outstanding academic achievements.
