Work Requests: Call Facility Services, Grounds or Housekeeping departments with work requests at Ext. 3345, send an e-mail using the Recipients List in Outlook (PCC, Physical Plant WorkOrder.) or see us in the San Juan Bldg., Room 121.
Department employees are ready to assist staff, faculty and administrative personnel in the following areas:
Housekeeping

Provide custodial care and services to all campus buildings
-
Process work orders for detail cleaning in offices and classrooms

Operating hours are Monday through Friday during campus hours.

Staff members perform housekeeping duties that include dusting, cleaning up spills, emptying shredders and stocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.
Grounds

Grounds services (mowing, trimming, irrigating, etc.)

Snow removal
-
Parking lot and grounds safety issues
-
Pest and rodent control on campus
-
Outside event support (set – up of tables and chairs, trash removal, & tent placement)

- All maintenance on the Fremont Campus

- Check-out equipment (dollies, fans, electric cords, ladders, heaters, etc.)

Coordinates and assigns work order requests for Pueblo and Fremont campuses. |

Responds to or routes calls, questions and concerns that arise with staff, faculty, students and neighbors within the surrounding area |

Handles requests for key and lock changes |

Coordinates the annual key inventory for staff and faculty |
 |
Collects and organizes Annual Crime Statistics from the four campuses |
 |
Assists in the preparation of the Annual Crime Statistics Report |
 |
Makes reservations and monitors the use of State Fleet vehicles assigned to campus |

Jim Gonzales, Owner of Titan Security, has managed security on the Pueblo campus for over 26 years. Officers are responsible for patrolling, opening and locking buildings and responding to emergencies. They are also able to unlock classrooms when requested.
Security officers are located in the College Center, Room 160 and are available during regular campus hours. They can can be contacted at ext. 3144. Alternate phone numbers are 821-6563, 544-8149 or 585-0618 (pager).
