Colleen Armstrong,
Vice President for Administration and Finance

Prior to beginning her career with Pueblo Community College in November 2002, Colleen gained experience in Community College administration while working for Colorado Northwestern Community College in the position of Associate Dean of Business Services from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, Colleen worked for several large companies in the private sector, where her responsibilities included fiscal operations management as the Controller for Eaton Corporation, Financial Controls Analyst for McDonnell Douglas and work as a Public Accountant performing audits in the private sector.

Colleen has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.

In her position as Vice President for Administration and Finance for Pueblo Community College, Colleen works under the direction of the Pueblo Community College President. Colleen coordinates, develops, approves and implements operation of the annual college budget and budget process. Fiscal responsibilities also include the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and she acts as liaison for the coordination of the fiscal year-end annual audit.  Colleen is also designated as the delegate for the State Controller in signing contracts and other legal documents for all three campuses and serves as a member of the President's Cabinet for Pueblo Community College.

As Vice President and Controller, Colleen manages the Administration and Finance Services Division. Responsibilities include supervising staff within the Cashier's Office, Payroll and Fiscal Operations, Human Resources Director, Facilities Services Director, Grounds and Housekeeping Director, Purchasing Manager, Printing and Publications Supervisor and Vice President's Office staff members.

               

Budget and Grant Compliance Manager
Paula McPheeters

 Paula McPheeters

Paula has been employed with Pueblo Community College since July of 1996.  Paula is a Pueblo native, a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado (BS) and completed a graduate degree at the University of Colorado Denver (MPA).
 
Since coming to PCC, Paula has served in a variety of classified and professional technical positions within several areas including: Student Services, President's Office, Business & Technology – Distance Learning, Institutional Effectiveness and Administration and Finance.  Since 2000-2001 she has been responsible for the coordination and management of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (CTE) federal grant funds under the direction of the Vice President of Learning.
 
In 2008 Paula’s current job as Budget Manager was revised to include the development of a Grant Compliance Management Process in relation to all grant programs served by PCC.  Paula takes great satisfaction in being able to provide support to faculty and staff in their quest to deliver top-notch education and training to PCC students.  Her motto:  Learn. Service Coordinator    

Jamie Davis

 

Jamie has worked at Pueblo Community College since 2007.  She started in the Community Education and Training Department as an Administrative Assistant.  Now Jamie is the Services Coordinator for the VPAF, she handles special projects and fund transfers.  She assists with signature collection for Vice President Armstrong such as: official functions, request to fill vacancies, travel and contracts.

                                                                                                                      

Jamie is a Pueblo native.  Her successes started here at Pueblo Community College.  She is a 2002 graduate of PCC where she earned her ASG in accounting.  While attending PCC she worked for Leanne Corsentino in the Purchasing Department.  After graduating Jamie moved on to Colorado State University-Pueblo, to earn her BSBA in Business with an emphasis in Marketing.  Jamie is currently working on her MBA from Colorado Technical University.

 

Prior to working at Pueblo Community College, Jamie worked at Colorado State University-Pueblo in the Athletic Department and at Cesar Chavez School Network as a Coordinator of special event.  PCC has always been home to Jamie and enjoys working here!
