AQIP asks all participating institutions to identify “action projects” as minimal evidence that they are committed to improving processes and systems. Participating institutions should have three action projects under study at any given time. When one project comes to an end, another is added, thus insuring that focused quality improvement continues. |

We are realizing many benefits from our work on action projects. Indeed, our projects have served to guide strategic planning and have influenced our allocation of scarce resources. We have seen positive results in several of the AQIP categories, such as Helping Students Learn, Valuing People, and Leading and Communicating. Each September, PCC reports to AQIP on the status of our action projects; in October, AQIP reviewers respond with questions and suggestions that help us refine our thinking. Below you will find links to our current and past project descriptions, as well as to our most recent annual updates. If these updates have received comments from AQIP reviewers, reviewer comments will be included.
