Dr. Davis and the AQIP team attended the AQIP Strategy Forum in Chicago  November 12 through 15, 2003.    Based upon the information collected from the Vital Focus Survey and  September 19 (Conversation Day) the team tentatively identified Action Projects to present at the forum.

The team  received feedback and was then able to identify 3  “vital few” Action Projects.  PCC will commit to the Action Projects and set timelines and measurable goals for accomplishing the projects.

The three areas identified for focus through action projects are as follows:

  • Advising

  • Diversity

  • Human Resource Alignment

Annual Updates on the progress of the Action Plans will need to be submitted to AQIP yearly on September 21st.  In return, constructive feedback will be received to ensure PCC is moving towards meeting our goals.

PCC will ultimately build and strengthen quality initiative—and demonstrate to AQIP the sincerity of the institutions’ commitment to quality.

The Academic Quality Improvement Program infuses the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of PCC by providing an alternative process through which PCC can maintain its accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission.
