Our First Year in AQIP

In 2002, PCC voted to join the Academic Quality Improvement Program, a new accreditation and quality improvement process sponsored by the Higher Learning Commission.  In taking this vote, PCC committed itself to continuous and recurring quality improvement based on valid performance measures, reliable assessment data, and employment of those data in improving our college.

Our application to AQIP was approved in 2003.  Following its approval, a team of faculty and administrators led us through the initial phases of assessment, helping us to identify our priorities and how we would approach them.
